There's one simple rule about scamming... If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Watch out for all the people that promise 1 million in one day, it's 99.9% a scam.  </div> <bR> <div> <B>Contests.</B></div> <bR> <div> Shop contests are now not allowed in neopets. Some people still try to do so, don't participate in them, it's likely a scam.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Account Sales.</B></div> <bR> <div>   Account sales don't really make any sense when you think about. Why would some that is supposely leaving neopets want an item if they have no account or that they giving it away? It's obioviously a scam so try not to particpate.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Fake Login Pages.</B></div> <bR> <div> Although, neopets have added that bar, there's always a way for people to get rid of it. ALWAYS check the link when you purchase an item. If you clicked it anyways, and it leads to a login page, always check to see if you see your screen name & the amount of np you have, in the fake one it doesn't show up(most times). In the real one it shows up. If you still want to Make sure, go to a different link in neopets and check if your really login in.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Sweet Deals.</B></div> <bR> <div> If someone offers a way to make fast np in a short period of time is MOST likely a scam. </div> <bR> <div> <B>Email Changers</B></div> <bR> <div> NEVER EVER change your e-mail to someone esles. That gives them easy access to your password.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Birthday requests.</B></div> <bR> <div> If someone you don't know or trust ask for your b-day and some of the names items, you have in your safety desposit box, DO NOT TELL THEM!</div> <div> They can e-mail neopets requesting for your password. Thats the info they need to get your password.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Special Neopoint Genrators or Programs.</B></div> <bR> <div> Special Neopoint Genrators or Programs are usually scams, 99.9% scams! Don't believe these people that offer neopoint genrators or programs.</div> <bR> <div> Just be caution, don't believe everything you see, and if it's too to be true.. it probably is!
